Caesars doesn't impress... - 2006/08/30 22:55
My wife and I stayed @ Caesars twice this July... The first stay, a Saturday night, the chair in the room had a missing leg and the guys in the next room sounded like they were throwing each other against the wall... So we called security who came up and all was quite until about 4 AM when they started up again... They stopped quickly but it was enough to wake us up in the middle of the night.
On the second stay, also on a Saturday night, when we arrived in the room we discovered there was no toilet paper and there were dirty towels in the bathroom... I called down to the front desk and they said they would send someone right up... No one ever showed up and I ended up stealing toilet paper and clean towels from the maids cart that was left out in the hallway.
Both visits it very hard to find slot machines to play... Granted, it was Saturday nights both times and it was crowded but there were a lot, and I mean A LOT of machines "Out Of Order"...
The Pier was recently opened but so little of it was actually open and ready that I will hold off judgement until it is done...
